On 6th March 2026, Udaan School for Experiential Learning organized a Parent Training Program along with a Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) in collaboration with the School of Physiotherapy. The session aimed to enhance parents’ understanding of therapeutic practices and equip them with practical skills to support their children’s development at home. During the session, various therapies provided at the school, particularly physiotherapy and other need-based interventions were explained in detail. Parents were informed about how these therapies contribute significantly to the physical development, behavioural management, and overall functional abilities of the students. A special focus was given to physiotherapy techniques tailored to individual student needs. Parents were introduced to simple activities that help improve posture, sitting balance, creeping, and basic motor skills. Demonstrations were also provided to help parents understand how such exercises can be safely practiced at home. The session further included discussions on behaviour management, particularly strategies for handling hyperactive children and understanding behavioural patterns. Parents were guided on maintaining patience, providing structured routines, and reinforcing positive behaviour. In addition, parents were introduced to the concept of vocational and non-vocational activities suited to different learners. They were also trained to create simple Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) using easily available resources at home to keep children engaged in meaningful learning activities. The program emphasized the importance of parent-child bonding, acceptance, and continuous encouragement. Parents were motivated to actively participate in their child’s educational journey and to maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards their growth and progress.
The objective of the Christmas celebration was to create a joyful and inclusive festive atmosphere within the school, encourage the spirit of sharing and kindness among students, and help them understand the values of love, generosity, compassion, and togetherness associated with the festival.
